Jobs Description
To under take the ToRs for the Implementation of health and Environmental Education Program in partner schools of ITA.
Understand and implement the Health and Environment Strategy for ITA's programs and projects
Where appropriate to review and upgrade the strategy ensuring close links to climate change and school health programs
Performing a Health and Environmental need assessment for the new partner schools.
Ensure access to relevant materials to remain updated on latest trends in climate change, education for sustainable development and health action schools
Hold meetings with mothers and community for health awareness and health education.
 Monitoring school environment and proposing strategies for active citizenship .
Set up systems of maintenance of health records of the school children.
Training of the teachers on health and environment issues and integrating them in school activities
Site based support to the teachers in different projects of ITA.
Record keeping/maintaining and updating of health files
Developing, Implementation and monitoring of health tools in partner schools.
Helping cluster coordinator/education promoter in her;/his activities.
Facilitating Whole School Improvement Program and its key activities with other team members .
Developing health and environmental curriculum and relevant activities
Participating in all enrichment activities including health clubs, summer camp and festivals.
Supporting all of the above in non-formal and literacy programs under ITA .
 Documentation of activities under Health and Environmental Education Program and contributions to the ITA newsletter.
Updating and maintaining teachers' resource corner.
Liaise with other like- minded organizations in government and non-government sectors.
Participate in all capacity building activities for professional development.
Linkages development with other organizations working in the field of health and environment and City District Government/district/.provincial and federal governments .

Job Specification Leadership skills. Excellent Computer skills. Good Communication Skills. Candidate should be presentable and proactive.
