Jobs Description- The job holder is responsible for maintaining the Banks Internal Control Standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points.
- Ensure that all transactions comply with Prudiential Regulations, Laws & Circulars issued by the State Bank of Pakistan.
- Check and improve the operation of internal control system to identify weak links and establish the appropriate systems to prevent, eliminate or reduce the risks arising from the operations.
- To identify areas to improve the operational efficiency in the bank.
- To conduct follow up reviews to ensure continued implementation of recommedations made by SBP and auditors.
- To provide coaching, guidance and directions to staff on an ongoing basis.
Job Specification A professional Accounting/Banking qualification (eg. MSc/MA/MBA in Finance/Economics or CA/ACCA/ICMA part qualified.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A team player with an ability to work independently.
- The job holder is expected to discuss the findings with senior management and draft report to be circulated to senior management.
- Exposure of KYC/AML and experience of branch operations in a bank is a plus.
- Experience of Internal Control Design, Implementation and Testing for a bank will be a huge advantage.
