Jobs Description
To ensure representation in the project area
Participate in official meetings to ensure maximum visibility via agency authorities
Representing project to the donors on their field visit
Establish and update contact details of potential donors active in the area
Participate in donor meetings at provincial/agency level and communicate relevant information to the head office
Participate in inter-NGO Coordination meetings and those of UN Agencies and relevant inter-governmental institutions at agency level
Ensure maximum visibility of the project amongst the NGO community at agency/ provincial level through coordination
Lead the production of reports and ensure the timelines and accuracy of information provided
Contribute to the development of project intervention strategy and to support its implementation at field
Analyze the context and develop strategic plans in consultation with the project staff
Assessing area, activities and ensuring efficient use of resources
Developing reports and reporting schedule with regard to donor deadlines
Job Specification
Master Level education in social or developmental sciences or relevant field
Project management experience (management, planning, staff development and presentation skills) in development program
5 years previous work experience in a relevant position/field
Proven capabilities in leadership and management required
Excellent skills in written and spoken English
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in cultural and organizational terms
Ability to work well and punctually under pressure
