Job Description
Globosoft is seeking a Linux/ Unix systems administrator with experience building and scaling large, multi-data center architectures. You must have a mastery of Unix & Linux. Globosoft needs admins who can work on site full-time (12 hours night shift) at our office located in Islamabad. You are required to handle inbound calls & email correspondence.
Job Specification
- Fluency in English Speaking (American Accent) & Writing
- CCNA, MCSE (must)
- RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) handling
- 3 years of production Linux/ Unix systems administration in a production data center environment for large company
- Excellent understanding of TCP/ IP, networking, firewall and security concepts
- Architectural experience in an Apache/ MySQL environment
- Familiarity with monitoring and configuration distribution tools
- Excellent working knowledge of DNS, HTTP/S, SSH, LDAP, NFS, PXE/DHCP/TFTP.
- Familiarity with system and software performance tuning
- Must be detail oriented, an organized thinker and able to act decisively under stressful conditions
- Excellent communication skills & proactive mindset
- Team player and self-motivated
