-Planning, developing, implementing and refining policies, procedures and programs for HR management and development
-Developing and maintaining employee handbook on policies and procedures
-Ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed
-Ensuring best HR practices are utilized to achieve company's objectives
-Proactively assessing the need of creating new positions
-Writing job descriptions and keeping them up-to-date
-Writing
content for advertisements, advertising vacancies, assessing
applications, scheduling interviews and tests, checking references,
compiling results, preparing reports and making recommendations to
management
-Ensuring joining process is smooth for new employees
-Conducting new employee's orientation
-Planning for employee retention and succession
-Conducting exit interviews
-Maintaining a pool of short-listed candidates for every position
-Maintaining the record of employees
-Maintaining the record of attendance, leave, salary, etc.
-Tracking the performance of employees for reviews
-Advising and counseling employees on career development
-Assessing training needs and recommending trainings
-Conducting annual salary survey and recommending adjustments
-Maintaining company's organization chart and employee directory
-Addressing employee related issues, incidents, complaints and inquiries
-Helping managers to understand and proactively address HR issues
-Supporting
managers and employees in understanding and adapting to changes in
business, policies, procedures and work environment
-Educating employees about workplace safety
-Recommending changes to improve work environment
-Staying current on law changes and ensuring compliance and legislative requirements are met
-Participating in job fairs to build company's brand and to attract new talent
-Participating in administrative staff meetings
-Managing and developing direct reporting staff
-Creating and maintaining required forms
-Preparing HR related documents and reports
-Providing daily, weekly and monthly reports to higher management
-Performing other incidental and related duties as required or assigned
