Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to set up, monitor and deliver proactive and professional advice and services. As part of our operational management team, you will be responsible for all quality assurance activities across the business to achieve business plan objectives. Working with wider management, a timetable of regular audits and assessments will need to be created to ensure the business is compliant with relevant codes and legislation, and to highlight any areas of improvement. We are looking for an ambitious and resilient individual to join the team. Based at our head office in Rochdale, we require a proactive Quality Assurance Manager who will play a key role in shaping behaviour of the employees and supporting functions of the operation.
Responsibilities:
- You will help define, enforce and review current policy and improve standards across the business
- You will validate and coordinate audit and test activities
- You will ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements and that business performance is maintained
- You will review all current quality systems and make recommendations to streamline and improve compliance
- To identify employee training needs and ensure that training of all staff is adequate for the role carried out
Job Specification
Audit:
- You will contribute to the development of existing audit processes and systems across the organisation and will assist in their implementation and review, ensuring that all audit functions are undertaken in a consistent manner
- Identify key issues and trends through audits and complaints and to implement improvements
- Overseeing implementation and conducting internal inspections to ensure that all auditor needs are met
- Carry out detailed research and completing documentation including risk assessments
About You:
- You will have at least 2 years’ experience in a quality assurance or quality control role
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as business studies, business administration
- APM PFQ, PMQ or PRINCE2 related qualification is a plus
- Results orientated, willingness to commit to a direction and drive operations to completion
- Ability to monitor your own performance and that of your colleagues
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Team player who demonstrates a high level of integrity
- Strong business management and leadership skills

Shift Time:
UK Times 9am to 6pm or 8am to 5pm
