Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full life-cycle project activities, from Analysis ---> Design ---> Implementation ---> Go-Live within the Financial and Projects areas of Dynamics AX
- Leverage understanding of ERP systems to drive functional improvements and identify areas for process development
- Test functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
- Support and drive change process and communication
- Coordinate and contribute to end-user training, including creation of user documentation and training materials
- Prepare functional specifications for customization required during a Dynamics AX implementation
- Hands-on configuration of Dynamics AX production and inventory modules
- Provide pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
Credentials & Experience
- College degree in a related discipline strongly desired (Business Management, Finance, Accounting)
- Professional certification and accreditation
- Microsoft Dynamics AX certification(s) in related discipline a plus
- Experience with other modules within Dynamics AX desired
- Minimum 3-years hands-on experience with full life-cycle implementations
- (5) or more years private industry experience recommended

- Knowledge of discrete manufacturing best practices, principles and procedures as related to mid-to-large scale business processes
- Demonstrable knowledge of applying the following AX functional areas to business processes:
- Item Master
- Bill of Materials
- Calendars and Work Centers
- Operations and Routes
- Production Scheduling
- Subcontracting
- Production Control
- Master Planning
- Experience with the Project module would be desirable
- Ability to understand, communicate, and interpret client business processes and requirements
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple demands
- Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation - including business and system requirements, process diagrams, and data flow charts
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Effective time management skills
- Fluent in English - both written and verbal - mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems as they relate to effective and efficient business processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
