The Graphic Designer will be required to design products to a brief. Successful candidate must interpret and in some cases create a design brief for certain projects and products. These may vary from educational visual aids to commercial products.
Responsibilities include:
- Interpreting briefs in a creative fashion to surpass expectation
- Articulating a creative vision clearly to clients and co-workers
- Designing required product in set time period
- Working independently or in collaboration with other team members, as determined by nature of specific project
- Presenting draft versions for approval, and adapting finished product according to client requirements
- Copywriting, copy editing and proofing

Candidates must have:
- A comprehensive understanding of design and typography
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite - in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Experience of working in digital communications and coding HTML 5, CSS 3 & JavaScript + jQuery, using the latest web standards and technology
- Strong print design skills and attention to detail - ensuring that all design work is as perfect as can be and that production work is carefully executed
- Creative eye for the web, empathy for users and technical competence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present a reasoned argument
- Excellent organisational skills - with the ability to self-manage, multi-task, handle tight deadlines and be adaptable and flexible to changes in priorities
- Problem-solving nature - able to work with other team members to resolve issues quickly
- Can-do attitude, with willingness to learn
