Job Description
· Commercial Proposal
- Work as an active team member to ensure timely submission of all RFQs in line with customer requirement
- Develop tools and models as required to determine the pricing
- Develop market benchmarks for pricing and ensure that commercial proposals are in line with market expectations
- Provide analytical support to Commercial teams during negotiations
- Ensure profitability margins and required returns in line with management guidelines
- Highlight key financial risks, run sensitivities and build protections against significant risks·
Contract Renewals & Price Revisions
- Ensure that contract renewals are in line with the assumptions in business case
- Trigger revisions in prices in line with changes in external environments (i.e. Taxation, inflation, etc.) as per commercial contracts
- Update business cases and identify any adverse impact on profitability and returns·
Compliance & Control
- Ensure compliance to company’s policies and procedures and seek management approvals as and when required
- Maintain all the records including financial workings for auditors’ review·
Reporting & Feedback
- Develop and share routine updates with management
- Conduct variance analysis of actuals vs. budget and share commentary
- Develop feedback mechanism in case of disqualification from RFQ, conduct root cause analysis and suggest ways to ensure competitive pricing in future
Job Specification
· At least one year of corporate/commercial finance experience;
· Experience in Telecom and Tower Industry is preferred;
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills including advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills;
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
· Understanding of taxation and its impact on business;
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
· Entrepreneurial, thrives in a start-up environment;
