Great Computer Solutions Inc (Microsoft Midmarket Solution provider, Managed Service Provider) is looking for Network Administrator who will be responsible for managing whole network and desktops here in Punjab-Pakistan and remotely disparate clients in USA and work with full coordination with other Technical staff such as CTO, Chief System Architects and other development team members. Should be able to prioritize the work as per company and client needs.

Please note that this position is for our Lahore office only.

Install, monitor, automate, and improve Data Backup systems for about 100 clients in USA. We use specific Data backup software and tools. It is 60% of the daily tasks. Order IT related products, Services for clients and document them for billing department. Installation, configuration & maintenance of all servers whether they are located in Pakistan or USA like mail servers, virtual server, domain controllers, ISA firewall & proxy servers, also hardware devices like switches, routers, firewalls and modems.

Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Servers. Perform administration of production servers and workstations. Perform security audits to ensure compliance with company policies and government requirements. Recommendations to management for doing capacity planning and systems improvement. Perform monitoring of IT infrastructure which includes production servers, network devices, network paths, connectivity, storage, voice quality/paths and take appropriate notification, troubleshooting and follow-up until issue is fixed. Ensure Data backup and recovery operations Trouble shooting and updating of hardware and software Creation of IT Security, backup tools and processes Documentation of IT Procedures Provide secure system definition, specification, policies, and procedures development.

Continuously monitor internet hacking, intrusions and virus attacks or any other possible security holes in the network & services. Ensure 24x7 VPN connectivity between client locations. Troubleshoot issues related to network (local or internet) & servers promptly.Implement solutions including hardware or software to plug security holes. Implement, configure & maintain an automatic backup system for all critical data including documents, emails, projects source code, databases etc. Implement test & verify disaster recovery plan. Monitor backup processes on daily basis. Monitor and control the transfer of data outside the organization via internet as well as removable devices like USB drives, writable CDs/DVDs, hard drives etc. Knowledge of VoIP phone system and infrastructure will be a plus. Experience in remote management tools, event and alert programming will be a plus.

MCSE, MCITP or MCSA is required from a reputable school/college Minimum 2 years experience as a Network Administrator Masters degree is required or BSC Hons degree with MCSE certification. Experience in Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 Experience in Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2013 Antivirus installation Experience in Malware removal remotely Ability to communicate in English is required. Ability to learn new products is required. Particularly we are looking for candidate to be able to learn Managed Service Provider’s software labtechsoftware. Programming experience or dealing with Remote Management tools will be preferred
