Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Project Manager to lead our software development projects from concept to launch.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, project management, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software products on time and within budget. This role involves managing the software development lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and continuously seeking out new technologies and methodologies to enhance our products and development processes. Lead and manage the full lifecycle of software development projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Work closely with product owners, developers, and designers to define project requirements, scope, and objectives. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs. Apply Agile, Scrum, or other relevant project management methodologies to ensure efficient and effective project execution. Identify, evaluate, and integrate new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance product functionality and development efficiency. Foster innovation by encouraging the team to explore new ideas and solutions in software development.
Ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle by incorporating best practices in coding, testing, and deployment. Manage stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on project progress, risks, and milestones. Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in software development, with a strong portfolio of successful software projects.
- Solid technical background with an understanding of software development and web technologies.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability and a creative mindset for innovation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of current and emerging technologies in software development.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) is a plus.
