We are seeking an individual with expert level experience with Code ignitor, WordPress and PHP to work on creating websites in WordPress using templates, enhance, improve, and implement WordPress solutions and provide customization if required.

The ideal candidate will have both architecture and design experience along with hands on development experience with WordPress primarily and other PHP based CMS optionally. We are looking for an individual to make new applications/websites or evaluate the existing architecture and design and participate in the development and delivery of modifications and enhancements.

The candidate must be able to work both independently and as a lead to help mentor / train other application developers so that over time they improve their knowledge with the WordPress platform. Candidates must have a passion for technology and a flexible, creative approach to problem solving and have the ability to take technical ownership with respect to design and development changes. The successful candidate will have a solid track record designing, building and delivering high performing and quality content management system using the WordPress platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement templates, designs in WordPress, customizing Plugins and enhancements in WordPress offerings with PHP and making enhancement in any existing template and functionality.
• Translate functional requirements from business users into sound technical designs that meet business objectives.
• Provide subject matter expertise for use of the WordPress platform
• Working with the infrastructure team, recommend architecture changes to improve performance and availability.
• Proactively offer solutions to complex technical problems

• More than 3 years of experience in codeignitor3,PHP programming, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery and WordPress
• Extensive knowledge and experience in WordPress development
• Knowledge of inbuilt WordPress functions
• Knowledge in crafting WordPress plugins and widgets to conform to WordPress coding standards
• Knowledge in creating child themes and working experience with WordPress premium themes
• Knowledge in creating responsive WordPress themes and themes with parallax effect
• Experience with Magento development including module installation/setup a plus
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills as needed to mentor team members who are less experienced with WordPress
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent understanding of internet technologies and typologies
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
