Job Description
Must have at least 5 years experience managing web servers using Apace / NGNIX
Must have extensive knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
Must have extensive knowledge of maintaining MySQL and preferably Percona
Must have strong knowledge of administering SSL certificates
Great understanding of Asterisk Strong understanding of SIP and or other VoIP Protocols
Demonstrable skills maintaining GIT
Skills Preferred but not required
Understanding of SS7 / C7
Basic Knowledge of REST
HTML, PHP, CSS, Java Script Understanding
QA Testing Skills (Manual & Automated)
Kannel / SMPP
BASH / Shell Scripting

Ability to work on multiple project efforts at the same time is required.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Main Roles
Provide technical expertise configuring, deploying and supporting Apache and NGNIX hosted on Linux
Work with the development team to improve speed of applications
Provide technical expertise supporting our Voice Platform (SIP, SS7, Asterisk)
Ensure all platforms are up to date with software and O/S
Work pro-actively to maximise uptime
React to alerting when there is an issue and co-ordinate resources to resolve the issue as quickly as possible
Support the QA Team providing assistance testing web applications and monitoring server performance under load
Some out of hours work will be required outside of normal office hours (11am to 8pm), normally planned, however you will be expected to be available for emergencies if / when they occure.
