• At least 7 years of demonstrable software industry experience, including 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Above average software development skills in more than two languages
• In-depth knowledge of the ASP.NET platform along with relevant technologies such as MVC, AJAX, Web Services, Web APIs, EF, LINQ, WCF and JQuery
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, UI/UX design and Javascript
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS, performance optimization and database design
• Ability to quickly comprehend complex business processes and existing systems’ architecture
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills in both business lingo and tech speak
• An aptitude for debugging, mathematics, problem solving and mastering new technologies in a short timespan
• Not afraid to get his/her hands “dirty” by delving into code when necessary
• Ability to differentiate between barely working and quality code
• High quality organizational and leadership skills
• Comfortable with both old-school and Agile development methodologies
• A bachelors or higher degree in computer science, engineering or a relevant field
