β’ Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
β’ Create and maintain the information architecture
β’ Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
β’ Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase usersβ understanding
β’ Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides
β’ Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
β’ Standardize content across platforms and media
β’ Gather usability feedback from customers, designers, and developers
β’ Revise documents as new issues arise
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
β’ Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
β’ Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
β’ Excellent written skills in English
β’ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
β’ Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
