Qualification & Skills

• Associates degree in CAD/Mechanical/Electronic and/or experience in creating/reading drawings with GD&T information.
• Professional course study in inspection software and techniques.
• Inspection experience with 2 years as CMM operator.
• Problem solving and analytical skills for root-cause analysis and troubleshooting.
• Manage hardware and software maintenance as required for metrology inspection equipment.
• Provides oversight and instruction to other personnel using metrology techniques and equipment
• Spatial and mechanical aptitude.
• Must be self learner.
• Program on & off line using model base definitions from CAD (Inspecting parts, fixtures and gauges)
• Utilize CAD for dimension information and geometry
• Understanding of Calibrations and installation of cmm machines.
• Calibration, maintenance and repair of all CMM fixtures
• Knowledge of basic computer hardware and applications software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.

• Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.
• Strong analytical ability
• Troubleshooting ability is required
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated good internal customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Detail oriented
