Xamarin Developer

Onewood is looking for an experienced mobile software engineer responsible for development of multi-platform mobile applications (ANDROID, iOS, HTML5). As part of an Agile development team, the successful candidate will be responsible for taking requirements provided by business, create and document solution technical specifications and implementation of new features/functions and existing codebase.

Required Skills:

• 5 years proven work experience as a computer software engineer or software developer with 3 years of solid Xamirin experience
• Excellent knowledge of mobile application architecture
• Excellent knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, REST & JSON
• Excellent knowledge of Mobile Application Security
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases
• Experience with test-driven development and mastery in software engineering tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design and debugging skills
• Experience of source control systems and configuration management
• Experience in Agile development methodologies

• Design and develop applications using the Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.IOS, Xamarin.forms and .NET Framework
• Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, unit testing and debugging, and documentation
• Perform in a scrum team role effectively managing multiple priorities
• Responsible for designing and implementing applications based on a varying degree of functional specifications
• Create highly sophisticated UI that takes into account mobile guidelines for Android and Apple

Experience

Essential:

• At least 3+ years of prior experience in Xamarin.Android, Xamarin.IOS, Xamarin.forms and .NET Framework
• Design and develop IOS & Android applications using the Xamarin toolset
• Understanding of modern software architectures
• Understand high-level business requirements and produce technical specifications, designs and architectures
• Well versed in web services technologies
• Experience with Visual Studio
• Experience with Apple & Windows Operating systems
• Comfortable with complex data structures and algorithms, and absorbing new technologies quickly
• Knowledge of Cloud deployment architectures

• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to deliver quality results in a busy and dynamic business focused environment
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and strong time management to deliver high quality work
• Ability to define solutions that will generate measurable results for the client
