We are looking for energetic sports enthusiasts for the post sports writer/editor for our online sports project (www.khilari.com.pk). The Aim of the project is to promote sports by developing an ecosystem which is conducive for all stake holders of the sporting community in Pakistan. Among the objectives is to gather and report sports news and relevant information.

You will be required to research, gather, write and report sports news and sports articles and expert opinion. You will be required to interact/netwrok with Sportsmen. You will be required to make effective use of social media for interacting with others and promote the project.

Typical work activities Tasks include:

• Researching and writing news features and articles
• Working closely with the news team, photographers and editors;
• Creating and uploading news on the content management system.
• Interviewing sportsmen and relevant stake holders in a range of different circumstances;
• 'Live' online reporting or real-time transmission of news/information when covering important events.
• Building contacts to maintain a flow of news,
• Seeking out and investigating stories via contacts, press releases and other media;
• Attending press conferences and asking questions.
• Attending a variety of events.
• Responding the phones on the news desk and reacting to breaking news stories;
