RNs should work directly with patients and their families. They are the primary point of contact between the patient and the world of health care, both at the bedside and in out-patient settings, if required play a key role in promoting the wellness by performing with range services:
To manage the nursing specified wards to ensure quality care to patients.
To perform assigned duties.
To coordinate all the activities related to semi private.
REGULAR DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the hospital policies & procedure.
Work directly with patient’s care and family education.
Perform bed side care.
Perform frequent patient care evaluation including monitoring and tracking vital signs, performing procedures such as urinary catheterization, IV Placement, phlebotomy, Safe administrating medication as per physician written order etc.
Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status.
Provide patient comfort and safety.
Assist physician and other health team members for patient’s care doing round.
Communicate with staff, patients and families with excellent written & verbal skills.
Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles and practice in order to holistically care for patient.
Punctual and depend for assigned shift.
Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients.
Practice patient teaching / training for patients and families.
Documentation in patient medical record.
Follow dress code stickily.
Co-ordinate with physicians and other health care professional for creating and evaluating customized care plan.
Valid PNC Holder - Registered Nurse from recognized institution
Other nursing courses e.g. CPR, BCLS, and ACLS
Service Experience of 1-2 years
Relevant Work experience as RN.
