Responsibilities:

Incomplete, ambiguous, or even contradictory requirements should be recognized. If necessary demonstrate live code to reduce the risk of working on incorrect requirements.

An analysis of the scope of the development should be determined and clearly stated in the scope document. Certain functionality may be out of scope of the project as a result of unclear requirements at the start of development.

Develop an abstract representation of the project under discussion. Make it sure that the software system will meet the requirements of the product, as well as ensuring that future requirements can be addressed. Define interfaces between the software system and other software products, as well as the underlying hardware or the host operating system.

Program part of / full code for the project assigned.

Ensure that bugs are recognized as early as possible.

Make releases or distributions of the project after thoroughly testing the code.

Maintaining and enhancing software to cope with newly discovered problems or new requirements / modifications.

1) Strong SQL skills writing stored procedures (Microsoft SQL Server / MySQL)

2) Thorough understanding of .NET platform such as VB.Net, C#, Asp .Net, Win forms, or have knowledge of PHP and concerned development tools such as OsCommerce, Joomla & Drupal etc.

3) Excellent understanding of how the web works at a protocol and standards level.

4) Strong OO capabilities, best practices, process, design patterns

5) Knowledge of front end coding such as HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and XML.

6) Proficient in any 1 of Client/Server Gateway Protocols and APIs e.g. CCI, CGI, CMM.

7) Awareness of Web Server Technologies such as IIS 5/6, Apache and software development tools (i.e. Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fire Works and Visio)

8) Candidate must have excellent analytical, communication, verbal, and written skills.

9) Must be team oriented, should be a self starter, be able to work autonomously, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
