WP Hood is looking for a candidate with good writing capabilities and a growing interest in the Digital Marketing industry. Our ideal candidate for the Junior SEO Executive position wants to pursue a more in-depth understanding of SEO best practices as it relates to content marketing. Additionally, this candidate is determined to continue improving and sharpening his/her writing abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write original and powerful SEO-driven content for blogs and websites
• Analyze and report on clients’ SEO performance monthly
• Develop relationships with off-site blogs for work to be published and maintain a database of all websites
• Perform backlink research and outreach
• Develop and perform scheduled site audits to ensure the proper functionality of all web-related sites for functionality as well as optimization for improved search rankings
• Utilize analytical and diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot page errors, browser-related issues, missing or abandoned links
• Perform off page technical SEO audits and competitor analysis as needed
• Provide in-house subject matter expertise regarding SEO best practices for on-page and off-page marketing efforts
• Perform research, analyze data, and develop key insights and action plans based on previous SEO results to improve overall performance, drive consumer engagement, and sales conversions
• Investigate and establish inbound link partners and help develop internal linking strategies
• Complete extensive research of keywords and manages keyword reporting
• Generate reports to provide detailed and concise information regarding the client’s SEO campaign results
• Communicate with management regarding deadlines and assignments
• Regularly review new advancements in SEO and develop implementation strategies based on the risk/reward of implementations

YOU HAVE:

• Experience with Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Moz
• Working knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS
• Google Analytics Certified (Preferred) with hands-on experience utilizing the platform
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices and changes in SEO
• Great multitasking skills with the ability to track and manage time effectively
• Excellent communication and writing skills

Experience:

• SEO: 2 years (Preferred)
• Google Search Console: 1 year (Preferred)
• Google Analytics: 1 year (Preferred)
• SEO Tools: 1 year (Preferred)
