Job Description
Maintains library collections of books, serial publications, and documents, audiovisual and other materials
Assists groups and individuals in locating and obtaining materials
Furnishes information on library activities, facilities, rules and services
Explains and assists in use of reference sources, such as card or book catalogue, or book and periodical indexes to locate information
Issues and receives materials for circulation or use in the library
Assembles and arranges displays of books and other library materials
Maintains reference and circulation materials
Answers correspondence on special reference subjects
Compiles list of library materials according to subjects or interests, and selects, orders, catalogues and classifies materials
Maintains online library catalogue at the University website
Job Specification
ï¶ Master Degree in Library Sciences
ï¶Minimum 2 Years of Experience
ï¶Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ï¶Able to independently manage all the activities of library
ï¶Ability to use latest computer softwares
