Leadership Responsibilities:
- Own the entire development methodology process at WebCause.
- Mentor, train, manage and lead a team of junior to mid-level developers.
- Contribute technically and lead the development team ensuring end-to-end delivery with technical excellence.
- Review code for technical accuracy, performance and standards.
- Create, manage and maintain documentation for projects and development workflow.
- Work as a bridge between the management and team for task and deadline management and delivering on project milestones.
Development Responsibilities:
- Develop custom and commercial WordPress themes from scratch for clients / WordPress repository and Themeforest.
- Develop custom WordPress plugins from scratch.
- Develop themes and plugins for WooCommerce.
- Develop custom Gutenberg blocks and plugins.
- Customize existing plugins and add features as per requirement.
- Integrate complex third-party APIs including REST and GraphQL.
- Custom integration of payment gateways and shipping APIs in WooCommerce.
- Create solutions for complex frontend and backend issues in WordPress themes and plugins.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a WordPress developer on production sites.
- 1+ years of experience leading WordPress development team.
- Proven experience developing commercial themes and plugins for themeforest and WordPress repository.
- Extensive experience implementing complex WordPress sites.
- Experience architecting and writing your own plugins and frameworks.
- Portfolio website and/or samples of past work and completed projects.
