Key Responsibilities
The Plant Manager provides overall and day-to-day direction, guidance, leadership, and management for the plant. Authority for, and is accountable for all plant output.
Develop and implement progressive workplace strategies which empower employees and result in both higher productivity and higher employee satisfaction.
Manage the organization's operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
Job Specification
Skills & Experience Required
Ideally, around 10 to 15 years of management experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience leading production operations that can accommodate cost reduction initiatives, process flow changes, introductions, etc..
Experience implementing change management, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and related initiatives at a manufacturing site.
Experience managing in a manufacturing environment where safety practices are high priority.
Experience overseeing capital improvement projects while running daily operations.
Education
Prefer bachelor's degree or higher in engineering.
