General Summary

The Trainee Engineer requires to assists and supports Service Engineers. Trainee Engineer must be a rapid learner, and is personally committed to continuous improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. He must learn the user of operating & service manuals and promoted only when he can successfully read, understand & able to work by following the manuals.
2. He must know the fluid & electronic block diagram of dialysis machine or any other equipment(s) as assigned.
3. Work according to the plan given by his immediate supervisor.
4. Perform planned maintenance of dialysis machines or any other equipment(s) as per service contract(s), under warranty & as required.
5. Maintain record of service performed on each machine in his assigned area up to date including error & time spend details.
6. Responsible for the filing of service reports & update the after sales service files on a regular basis.
7. Keep his tool kit intact and ready for use always. Lack of tools (if not reported to the manager) will be counted as negligence non-professionalism of the person.
8. Should get command in the operating of Dialysis Machine or any other equipment(s) and help marketing/sales team in demonstrations/installations as and when required.
9. Keep client up to date regarding replacement of Routine maintenance kit after predefined hours.
10. Responsible to keep his technical knowledge up to date utilizing the material available in the office.
11. Help his colleagues in the field when required with prior approval from his immediate supervisor / manager.
12. Keep himself and the organization up to date regarding competitor's activities.
13. Ensure that the workshop shall be in neat & tidy condition at all times.
14. Respond day & night to the emergency calls [if any].
15. Responsible for update his knowledge for computer applications necessary to carry out the job including software’s installation etc.
16. Responsible for the preparation of weekly reports.
