Job Description
The Accounts Office/Executive Finance is responsible for assisting and providing accounting and administrative support to finance and accounts department. This includes critical tasks such as book keeping, creditors and debtors’ management, banking and application of analytical and numerical skills towards the improvement of processes.
Applicants for the job should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly organized. They also need to have skills in typing, using computer systems and have a strong understanding of the workings of an office. Good interpersonal skills are very important as they often have to deal with customers and external agencies.
Job Specification
Managing and recording of day to day banking transactions
Fund Management
Bank Reconciliations
Reconciliation of general and vendor ledgers
Preparation of invoices and journalization of subsidiary ledgers
Petty Cash maintenance
Data Entry
The ideal candidate must hold good command on QuickBooks and proficient in Ms. Excel Ms. Office along with understanding of basic accounting principles and conventions
