History describes that how much employees misinterpret and hate HR personnel just because of few individual’s practices.

The diverse nature of HR is found in different nature of industries. Most of the HR personnel do as they are instructed and it is fine to follow order and implement the rules and regulations defined by the higher management but role of HR is way more than just implementing rules and policy and bound an employee to oblige.

Basically Human Resource Department is a bridge between the higher management and employees. If any policy is required to be implemented than it is mandatory for HR Personnel to be aware about the circumstances may occur due to that policy or what impact that particular rule or policy might cause over employees’ performances. HR is fundamentally like mother of a company who take care of each and every individual, also keep them disciplined and get the work done from all family members with their full satisfaction, sincerity, effectively and efficiently. It becomes core responsibility of HR Personnel to discuss all the circumstances with upper management (before announcing rule / policy) and come up with a solution / alternatives of that particular rule which might affect the performance of employees and get slight changes done (if required in policy), in that which neither will affect the motive of organization for that policy nor will put any wrong impact of organization over employees, their morality or performance.

There are two types of HR Personnel available in organizations; one which think like a mother and rest as family member and second just do as directed which according my prospective are the guys who often loose the potential resources from organization due to improper employee retention. On the other hand there are also 2 types of employees (nature wise) available.

1. The one who do as directed and later on open the complaint box in front of other employees or outside the organization.

2. The one who get a friendly HR like mother; start getting the things for granted and try to get lions share by cheap tricks.

This is something been faced by HR Personnel as well as employees. So here I have a KITE RULE for HR to handle employees and make an efficient resources and incredible HR Department.

“While flying kite sometimes we have to loose string so it can reach to its maximum level of height / travel to distance but as it looses control we have to pull the string to get kite back to balance ”.

What if, same rule is applied over employees; loose their string so that they may come up with results at their maximum level best but when they start getting everything for granted / start loosing their control on situations / create behavioral problem then pull the string at a necessary level.

It is pertaining to mention in this context that while flying kite we never loose the string for so long pace of time because after loosing complete balance either it becomes harder to balance on certain point we totally loose control of kite, so time to time we keep pulling the string. Same rule should be applied to employees if HR provide the leverage consistently, employee will start disrespecting your policies, will be taking things for granted and will always bother you to fulfill his demands and employee may also leave your organization with bad word of mouth advertisement but if you give leverage and keep on pulling string as and when required then you can get a disciplined and result oriented resource out of anyone working within your organization as well as you would be able to build incredible Human Resource Department.

This will make their work worth doing for someone who really cares for them and on the other hand management will be happy on having potential employees working efficiently on tasks with amazing results.
