ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Limited, formerly ASA Pakistan Ltd., is a wholly owned subsidiary of ASA International, incorporated under the Microfinance Institution Ordinance, 2001.

The Pakistan Microfinance sector has demonstrated a robust growth over the last decade; however, it has still a long way to lead. The sector was initially dominated by the government-sponsored rural support programs and NGOs. The landscape has changed significantly over the past few years and now includes some microfinance institutions, amongst which ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Ltd. Despite the growing number of microfinance institutions, there is still a huge gap between the demand and supply in the Pakistani microfinance Market.

ASA Microfinance Bank (Pakistan) Limited, formerly ASA Pakistan Ltd., is a for-profit microfinance institution, providing small, socially responsible loans for income-generating purposes to low-income, predominantly female entrepreneurs. The Company provides these loans using the ASA Model of microfinance.
