Child Aid Association (CAA) is a registered non-profit welfare organization established in 1979 and affiliated with the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Sindh. Operating from the National Institute of Child Health (NICH), Karachi, the Association is dedicated to providing quality healthcare services to underprivileged children, particularly those suffering from cancer. In 1999, CAA established Pakistan’s first Pediatric Cancer Center at NICH, where children receive comprehensive cancer treatment free of cost. Over the years, the organization has successfully treated more than 11,500 pediatric cancer patients from across Pakistan and neighboring countries. In addition to cancer care, Child Aid Association supports advanced healthcare services through its Cytogenetic Laboratory, Molecular/PCR Laboratory, Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) Laboratory, free medicines, diagnostic facilities, and nutritional support programs. Through the generous contributions of donors, institutions, and volunteers, CAA continues its mission of giving every child access to life-saving healthcare and a brighter future.
