Riphah International University (RIU) Islamabad is a Private University, chartered by the Federal Government of Pakistan in 2002. The University was established with a view to produce professionals with Islamic moral and ethical values. The University is sponsored by a not for profit trust (IIMC-T), created in 1995. Its first educational project was the Islamic International Medical College established in 1996 by the founding managing trustee and first Principal of the college Maj. Gen� Muhammad Zulfiqar Ali Khan. The Riphah International University is committed to promote and impact quality education in applied and social sciences in particular with character building of the new generation in the light of Islamic Principles and values.
The University has its campuses in Islamabad in Sector I 14, where we have facilities of Engineering, Computing, Management Sciences and Social Sciences and in G-7 where we have Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Dental College. The Rawalpindi campus is located at Peshawar Road in the historic premises of the old Supreme Court building, where we have Islamic International Medical College and Riphah Institute of Media Sciences and Riphah College of Rehabilitation Sciences and Riphah Centre of Islamic Business.
