Vast majority of population considers insurance as investment product rather protection from financial loss. This has been primarily due to large number of customers opting for life insurance as compared to other risk based protection products like health insurance, home insurance and etc.
All procedures, such as claims, are the same as in traditional insurance organizations. The distinction lies within the nature of the agreement, not within the processes.
