Namal College, under the leadership of Imran Khan, offers a University of Bradford degree while providing need-based financial aid to 90% of students. In a balanced society, people must be provided with equal opportunities to grow and prosper in life. In today’s advanced society, quality higher education creates such opportunities. Making higher education available and affordable to our talented youth will lay the foundation of a growing society. It will offer us a solution to our current issues, enabling our country to assume a leading role amongst other nations of the world. As rural areas of Pakistan have mostly been neglected especially with respect to education, the vision of Namal College therefore is to become a center of academic excellence in the region for rural development & entrepreneurship. Namal College in district Mianwali has completed its five years of operations. There are now around 300 students studying at Namal College. It is also noteworthy that 11 full-time PhD faculty members are teaching at the campus. The enrolled students hail from 47 different districts from of Pakistan which gives great diversity and learning to the students. Namal College is an associate college of the University of Bradford, UK and the first two batches of Namal College i.e. Class of 2012 and Class of 2013 have graduated from the Namal College with University of Bradford degrees. For the first time, our bright youngsters from rural Pakistan were provided an opportunity and they successfully completed a degree program of international standards. Namal College assisted over 90% of the students in overcoming their financial constraints.
