THE HISTORY:
The institution of "Struggle Against Disability" is an out crusade of Mrs. Sadia Syed. The lady equipped herself with the training to deal with disables & to mitigate there problems. She formulated an institution with the participated & co-operation of a few God fearing persons.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES:
1-Rehabilitation services to Special Children.
2-Special education facilities.
3-Vocational Training facilities.
4-Treatment & health care services.
5-Hostel facilities for needy & orphan Special children.
6-Technical i.e pick & drop services to the scholars.
7-Recreational facilities.
8-To manage employment facilities for trained/qualified special person to restore their self-respect & to make them economically productive.
9-To project the useful potential of the handicapped Children/Persons through the electronic media/print media.
VOCATIONAL PROGRAMME;
Vocational training in the areas of knitting, cutting stitching & embroidery is imparted to to special children. So that they become confident & self-reliant citizen.
RECREATIONAL FACILITIES;
Indoor recreational facilities like Carom Board, TV Viewing, Picture, Books & Luddo are made available to Special Children in order to aid their mental growth & rehabilitation.
HOSTEL FACILITIES;
Needy & shelter less special children are provided with the hostel facilities at SADIA & during their stay at SADIA they not only are recipients of free boarding & lodging facilities but also get free in-house cooked healthy & hygienic meals.
SPORTS PROGRAMME;
The opportunities of sports events & sports playing are far & few but still sports remain the integral part of our curriculum. Children are given training to play Cricket & Football. SADIA’s Special Children have always performed well & have brought success.
PICK & DROP;
Free transport services are provided to day scholars for their pick & drop.
