Pros:
A well reputed company who gave me first opportunity to start my career in telecom in 2003 and I was proud of being its part till I worked there for 5 year as an internal employee. I visited China in November 2007 and many training under ZTE umbrella.  A good motivation from management in terms of salary increment, bonus and many other facilities and employees used to work with full sincerity.
Cons:
Now I have again attached with ZTE but as an outsourced employee and outsourcing looks a killer for a company's reputation. Being outsourced employee means being like step children. No one cares about them, this is not limited to ZTE itself but also to all other companies who are outsourcing their work. Company does not own them as their own employee and so is the reaction from the employees that they do not completely own the tasks assigned to them. There is a big sincerity difference between an internal employee and an outsourced employee.
Advice to Management:
Based upon above mentioned pros and cons try to own your employees by adopting them,,,, not by outsourcing them. Then you will have a good work quality force whom no body can challenge.
