• MRM Traders, initially known as Mars Electronics started operations in 1999 in the city of Karachi where the company is still headquartered offering sales and services for Kenwood products. Mars Electronics has now turned into a subsidiary of MRM Traders and deals in warranty and services only.

  MRM Traders acquired dealership rights for Kenwood in-car entertainment products in 2001. Later in 2004 the complete product range of Pioneer, including home entertainment, in-car entertainment, professional and consumer audio products like headphones, DJ Systems were offered under warranty in Pakistan (which later resulted in acquiring distributor status in 2007). The same year 2004 saw the acquisition of distribution rights for Yamaha Audio products and instruments portfolio which includes Pianos, Keyboards, Home Entertainment products, Professional Series Audio Equipment, Guitars, Drum sets and other Musical Instruments. In the next year 2005, company started an in-house brand by the name of Rock Mars, which has been known to be a symbol of quality and as a leader in product innovation in Pakistan, Africa and Middle East since its inception.

  In 2008 distribution rights for Toshiba were acquired which were later withdrawn and replaced by Samsung’s Audio and Digital Imaging product line-up in 2012. Distribution rights for Samsung Home Appliances including Refrigerators, Air conditioners, Fridge, Washing Machines, Vacuum Cleaners and Flat Panel TVs were acquired in 2014 for the Sindh and Baluchistan region which have now been expended for nation wide services in 2015. The year 2014 also marks the inclusion of JVC Car Audio products into MRM’s prestigious portfolio which further increases its’ share in the Car Audio aftermarket to a staggering 80%. Company also acquired exclusive distribution rights for Navitel, a renowned company dealing in Navigation application and mapping. This collaboration has resulted in the launching of 3D Navigation maps for Pakistan for multiple platforms including car navigation units and smart mobile phones.

  In the mean while the company has expended operations to Lahore in 2007, Rawalpindi in 2008, Hyderabad, Multan and Faisalabad with distribution offices, service centers and warehouses, and an ever growing retail channel network which currently comprises of more than 200 retail channel partners nationwide.
