Indeed we cannot replace the parents of an orphan, but we cannot reduce his deprivation by caring for him and guiding him to live in this world. We cannot replace a widow but we can maintain her honour and help her raise her children. We cannot give vision to a blind man, but we can hold his hand and help him along his way. We cannot grant mobility to a lame person, but we can provide him with assistance and support.
