• Paramount started its journey towards progress and growth about three decades ago from the land of rising sun Japan as an incorporated business entity. Within a short period, Paramount made its mark in Japan and also initiated the marketing of oriental products to Far East markets. The phenomenal growth of Paramount in Japan triggered its Management to look for exploring other potential markets.

  In line with this philosophy, Paramount entered in Malaysia in 1990 with the brand name of Paramount Pharmaceuticals and our Latex products earned a good reputation in a brief period on the basis of high quality, affordability and customer satisfaction. Paramount not only catered to the needs of Malaysian market, it soon started to export its products to Europe, Asia and America.

  The Management was always in search of expanding business interests by market and product diversification and in 1994 established Paramount Pharmaceuticals in Pakistan as a subsidiary of Paramount Inc. Tokyo, Japan with-state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities at one of the beautiful locations of Federal Capital i.e. Industrial Triangle, Islamabad.

  Since its inception in Pakistan, Paramount has covered a lot of distance on the road to progress and has emerged from a small business entity to a growing pharmaceutical company. It is manufacturing a wide range of pharmaceutical products including tablets, capsules, dry suspensions, syrups, ointments & creams. It is also the pioneer in Grain Coating Technology in Pakistan.

  Paramount has installed an ISO 9001:2008 & 14001:2004 certified modern manufacturing plant in conformity with the WHO’s requirements of Current Goods Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Goods Storage Practices (GSP) to ensure the implementation of Zero Defect Concept. The plant is fully equipped to provide a healthy, safe and conducive working environment to employees. At Paramount, quality control and quality assurance is a regular process starting from the arrival of raw material to the finished goods stage. Working continuously on improving professionalism and expertise of its human resource is always the key priority of the Company.

  These efforts have put Paramount on the path of fast-track growth due to which the Company is now included in the top 100 companies of Pakistan out of more than 400 pharmaceuticals companies. As per latest ranking of PharmaGuide, Paramount has been ranked at 81st position in Pakistan, which is a great achievement for the Company.

  The Company is not only enjoying a sizeable market share in Pakistan, it is also exporting life-saving drugs to Afghanistan and is among top ten companies in Afghanistan market. Now the Company is exploring the market of Central Asian States which has huge export potential. For this purpose, we are in the process of completing regulatory & registration requirements to enter the Central Asian market while the plans to explore business opportunities in Sri Lanka, Philippines, Myanmar and Vietnam are in the pipeline.
