Deriving its name from the Urdu word ‘Kamayi’, which literally translates to earning, our company’s mission is to address the critical disconnect between the trained labour force (from the blue/grey collar segments) and their relevant industry in Pakistan, while also enabling an ecosystem where individuals are incentivised to work and make their contribution towards kick-starting the country’s economy.
On one hand, the industrial players in Pakistan face significant barriers in reaching out to a trained pool of available labour force in the country, while the graduates from TVET institutes from across Pakistan have limited access to their relevant markets and job opportunities. This gap provided us a with a unique opportunity to develop Kamayi to facilitate employment for these trained individuals. In this vein, our primary targets are to:
provide a platform for employees to be informed about job opportunities relevant to them;
provide a platform for employers to post jobs and source candidates relevant to them;
provide solutions to overcome barriers in the employment process
Kamayi’s managerial team comprises of individuals who have acquired significant industry experience over the last five years by working in both local and international markets. Their diverse skill-set helps strengthen the company operations, anticipate and address key problems, as well as mitigate risks.
