  Nova Leathers (Pvt.) Ltd. was established in 1986 as a specialized tannery for making all types of garment leathers.

  In 1989, the management decided to vertically integrate itself in the field of garment manufacturing. This decision of value addition was an immediate success and due to the stringent emphasis on quality production, orders poured in from all over. Since then, we have been able to increase our garments production from 35,000 pieces per year to an annual quantity of some 1.40 Million Leather Jackets and 100,000 Bags.

  The tannery is built up on an area of 100,000 sq. ft. The plant is equipped with Italian and German machines processing and finishing approximately 4.0 Million sq.ft. of hides and side annually. 30% of the total production is exported to FarEast Europe North America South America and Canada. Products include garment leather as well as shoe uppers and upholstery leather.

  The garment unit has a total covered area of about 250,000 sq. ft. and is one of the most modern, efficient and biggest units in Karachi. Besides having skilled workers, also have button-hole, embroidery and embossing machines. The stitching unit has space for further expansion. Nova is currently exporting 100% of its production.

  Nova Leathers has a dedicated handbags and accessories manufacturing unit with a monthly capacity of 10,000 units per month. The unit is equipped with all the machinery required to make high quality handbags and belts for some leading fashion brands in Europe and the Far East.
