Job Description
Job Description:- Responsible for writing database-monitoring scripts
- Use proactive approach to identify and improve databases performance
- Experimenting and implementing MySQL new features
- Migrating/upgrading MySQL instances and applying MySQL patches
- Enterprise Database Environment, expertise in clustered environment
- Knowledge of DB processes will be a plus
- Expert in MySQL enterprise and Cluster solution
- Expert knowledge level of DB schema optimization and query optimization
- Expert of setup DB for real time large scale system
- Knowledge of Telecom DB will be a plus
- Perform other essential duties as assigned MS SQL Server and/or Oracle DBA experience is a plus
- Proven experience in supporting 24x7 high volume production OLTP databases
- Extensive knowledge of MySQL internals, replication etc
- Experience with various features of MySQL ; like replication, partitioning, clustering etc
- Experience in database designing and modeling
- MS SQL Server and/or Oracle DBA experience is an advantage
- Responsible for other duties as assigned and must be able to work independently within specified time constraints.
