Job Description
Critical Job Functions:
Monitoring of children’s health:- Evaluate milestones
- Daily health check of all children
- Well versed with all health related policies
- Identify infant related issues and guide parents accordingly (colic, weaning diet, teething, breastfeeding, vaccinations etc)
- Identify toddler/pre-schooler related health issues and advise parents accordingly (toilet training, balanced diet, vaccinations etc)
- Watch for acute illnesses and implement based on health policies
- Medication Administration
- Monitoring body temperature and weight of infants and toddlers
- Referrals
- Reporting of any health issues promptly to parents, health coordinator, COO and CEO
- Documentation
- Dealing with company doctor in case of any health issues
- Parent education:
- Nutrition and weaning diet
- Health and hygiene
- Safety
- Preventive care
- Child growth and development
Health Management and training:- Overall staff health supervision
- Center health inspections
- Development of training materials for use in staff training and development as related to health
- Development of parent education materials
- Training of staff in health related topics, including CPR and first aid
- Coordination with Health Coordinator in situations requiring inclusion/exclusion of staff/children
- Parent counseling regarding health issues

Can accurately check weight, height, and temperature of child Can effectively reinforce inclusion/exclusion policy Can identify symptoms of child-related illnesses Can take appropriate health related decisions efficiently Sound Knowledge of Health policies and procedures Communication Skills- Can write Health Reports & child’s milestones in proper English, can communicate in intermediate to advanced oral English/Urdu with parents/staff
