Fashion Designer

We are looking to hire an intern to help us design and produce prototypes for our new line. This is a flexible position where you can pick your own hours and mostly work from home, but there will be weekly meetings (2 meetings a week) until we finish this project. Position starts as an internship but could lead to a full-time position with our company. The duration of this position is TBD depending on how well we work together, but we are looking for a potential candidate to join our team in the long run.

Responsibilities:
-Assist in all aspects of design/development of new prototypes:
Quick sketching for brainstorming
Pattern making (only if applicable)
Sewing prototypes (you will need your own sewing machine- you can work at home)
-Help with research for development of new products

Qualifications:
-Currently attending a fashion design related degree, or a degree in Fashion Design is preferred but not required if you have a good portfolio/samples
-MUST have minimum of 1-2 years experience sewing and have a portfolio/samples to show for it
-MUST have your own sewing machine
-Have reliable transportation
-Knowledge in textiles a PLUS
-Ability to quickly sketch ideas
-Must be professional, creative, trustworthy, punctual, organized, and friendly

This is a great experience for anyone trying to build their portfolio, especially students. You will be credited on our website for your help in design and development.
