Job Description
To review the tender documents and identify the project scope of work for preparing a comprehensive and cost effective proposal Prepares project cost estimates in terms of the required material as per bill of quantities (BOQ), amount of work, material/ equipment/ and manpower requirements during the tendering phase To coordinate with Design Department for pre design against customer’s needs To coordinate with Procurement department for obtaining updated pricing information against the BOQ of inquiries and trends. Management of the estimating process. To ensure accuracy, professionalism and timely completion To work out the cost against the identified needs of customers & to prepare necessary documentation for quotations To undertake ongoing technical and commercial clarifications, requested by the client, throughout the life of the tenders, and support the BD team through to successful order placement. Documenting and filing, in an organized manner, of all relevant tender correspondence and data To send the final estimation documents, budgets and final BOQ to the Manager Proposal, after the project has been awarded. Hand over of all relevant tender documentation to Projects and Contracts teams after award of contract and attendance of Project Startup meetings when required To coordinate with other departments of the company as and when required
