What does Specialist Transport Network Optical amp; IP - Design do?

• Optical Fiber System Design for metro and Long-haul fiber network.
• High Level Design (HLD) and Low level Design (LLD) for Optical and IP-RAN Networks.
• Plan and designing of Layer-3 FTTS (Fiber to the Site) network.
• Optical Network Utilization monitoring, management and Optimization.
• Highlight and identify network optimization needs and issue plans for implementation of network optimization solutions.
• Solution, Design and feasibility provisioning for Nation-wide Jazz Enterprise Network team.
• Propose network expansions based on performance KPIs of JAZZ transport network.

Requirements

Experience and Educational requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with BSc. Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or in any other relevant field
• Having good knowledge and relevant experience of IP-RAN, IP-MPLS, FTTS (Fiber to the Site) technologies.
• Working with optical transmission equipment from well-established equipment providers
• Working knowledge of optical transmission design principles including fibre types, optical power budgeting, amplification and/or attenuation requirements etc.
• Technical proficiency balanced with a desire and aptitude to plan, co-ordinate and project manage
• MS Office/MS Visio
• Good Presentation and Stakeholder management skills.
