Job Description
Social Media & Marketing Specialist Main responsibilities:
• Create a comprehensive social media strategy to increase visibility and generate leads
• Implement and manage social media programs
• Experiment with new and alternative ways to leverage social media activities
• Monitor trends and applications in social media tools and apply that knowledge to increase the use of social media channels
• Manage presence in social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, and other similar community sites and seeding content into social applications as needed, posting on blogs, to generate exposure
• Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities
Key Requirements:
• English Advanced
• 3+ years experience in social media marketing with demonstrated successes
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Outstanding ability to think creatively, and identify and resolve problems
• Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
• Ability to clearly and effectively articulate thoughts and points, and synthesize large amount of data into actionable information
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
• Strong project management or organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
• Team player, with the confidence to take the lead when necessary
• Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
• Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO
• Public relations, Marketing, Sales, Community Management experience is a plus
