Job Description

Commercial Manager will identify and improve, plan and execute all the process in commercial that includes Procurement, Dispatch and Stores and Planning for goods and components demanded by Sales. Create integrated processes among Operations, Purchase, Logistics, and outside suppliers to execute the planning/replenishment process. Identify systems tools needed to implement planning/forecasting systems. Lead re-engineering efforts as it relates to Commercial Department Planning and Execution systems.

Other responsibilities include:
Manage and supervise staff, tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts; establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning / forecasting; measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to top management; familiar with the development, use, and implementation of planning and forecasting systems; apply expertise to specify system functionality. In the planning/forecasting process and utilize computer software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and other Procurement, Pricing and Inventory management ) for data analysis and feedback.

Job Specification

The Commercial Manager is expected to supervise 8-10 executive level employees. He will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of his department and teams. He will be also responsible for managing the total supply chain for company's rapidly growing product lines. The responsibilities include overall accountability for imports, capacity planning, distribution channels and warehouse inventory, and relations with our Principles. He will have to work closely with sales to link forecasts to purchasing/procurement and inventory management. Identify areas for cost reductions and implement strategies for cost reduction and containment Individual should carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and rules/regulations. Responsibilities include screening new staff, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
