Job Description

01. Plan and sell transportation, accommodations, insurance and other travel services.
02. Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them appropriate destination, modes of transportation, travel dates, costs and accommodations.
03. Provide relevant information, brochures and publications (guides, local customs, maps, regulations, events etc) to travelers.
04. Book transportation, make hotel reservations and collect payment/fees.
05. Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
06. Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints or refunds.
07. Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
08. Maintain statistical and financial records.
09. Meet profit and sales targets.

Job Specification

01. 2+ years of experience as a travel agent or 4+ years of experience in customer handling
02. Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel.
03. Fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus.
04. Strong sales skills and commercial awareness.
05. Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively.
06. Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
07. Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage.
