Job Description
• Responsible for performing specific work activities/tasks that are planned or assigned.
• Maintain monitoring tools and reporting that will increase the reliable functionality and uptime for services supported by ITS
• Configure and maintain corporate monitoring applications
• Required to exercise independent judgement and discretion in resolving enterprise issues
• Escalate and track problems reported to all technical services teams via ticketing system (SDE)
• Good level of understanding of network technologies, including routers, switches, and distributed applications systems running on MS operating systems
• Develop and maintain processes to provide statistics on network performance
• Create processes to effectively escalate and track problems as they occur
• Work closely with all technical teams to implement strategies that will increase reliability and uptime for services supported by the enterprise
• Working knowledge of MS Windows family of operating systems
• Ability to work flexible schedule (nights/weekends/holidays)
• Must be Multi-tasked oriented
• Ablility to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operation

A+ and Microsoft Windows Server certifications will be required
