Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, hands-on and detailed QA Engineer to join our application development team. The ideal candidate must be energetic, quick, self-motivated, results oriented, flexible and independent with insightful judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
- Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
- Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.
- Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers.
- Document test procedures to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
- Identify program deviance from standards, and suggest modifications to ensure compliance.
- Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen.
- Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
- Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
- Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Conduct historical analyses of test results.
Job Specification
Automation tools experience of minimum 1-2 years i.e. Load Runner, Selenium, QTP
Familiarity with software testing types and quality assurance activities, and techniques.
Working knowledge of SQLServer or any other RDBMS and SQL language.
Good understanding of SDLC and QAs role and participation in all phases of SDLC.
Understanding of software Bug Life Cycle will be a plus.
Ability to convince and communicate with objectivity.
Strong verbal and written communication in English language.
Healthy team spirit and ability to work under strict deadlines.
