Job Description
1) Prepare and deliver lectures to Matric or intermediate students on topics such as organic and in organic chemistry
2) Supervise students' laboratory work.
3) Evaluate and grade students' class work, laboratory performance, assignments, and papers.
4) Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others.
5) Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records.
6) Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and handouts.
Job Specification
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry (master’s degree preferred) and high school chemistry teaching experience in courses ranging from introductory through AP chemistry. Deep understanding and experience with laboratory-based, student-centered instruction is essential. Interest and experience in teaching other areas of science and/or supervising student research is desired.
